16 Toys that Start with P

Sharing is caring!

Last year, I started my series of posts on show and tell items from A to Z to help parents (like me) who were scrambling to find a show and tell item for their kids at the last minute. I included foods from A to Z, books for each letter of the alphabet, and toys for every letter as well. I decided to dive a little deeper and create move comprehensive lists for toys that start with each letter from A to Z – and here I am sharing the list of toys that start with the letter P!

Whether you’re looking for toys that start with P for show and tell, you’re a teacher who likes to have letter-themed toys for your alphabet lessons, or you’re looking for a gift that starts with P for a special reason (maybe you’re shopping for gifts that start with the same letter as your child’s name), this list is a great way to get started!

Peppa Pig Princess Playset

Try saying that three times fast! All of my kids have enjoyed Peppa Pig and all that comes with her. Boys and girls seem to take a liking to the British cartoon family. This play set features Princess Peppa and George is the fearless knight that must defeat the dragon. His handy tool is an awesome catapult! This set is fairly reasonably priced and compatible with all other Peppa Pig play sets, so if you’d like, you can purchase the whole gang of friends.

Pony Rocker

The Rock and Rider pony is a wonderful toy for any young child. Those that can’t quite walk yet, the rocker is fun for them to sit on and rock away. For the more mobile children, take the rockers off and the pony has wheels to glide across the floor. Each ear has a button that can be pressed to make the pony sing songs or make pony noises. Very cute for little cowboys and cowgirls that want to have an imaginary adventure.

P J Masks

Bedtime is the right time to fight crime! PJ Masks are so exciting and so much fun! This set comes with everybody that the kids would want to play with. The entire PJ Masks crew, plus all the popular villains! How cool is that? Most sets of toys come with one or two bad guys to fight off, this set comes with four, plus three Ninjalinos! These figures are about 3 inches tall, so perfect for smaller kids to play with. Great for one kid, or for a group of kids to play. More than enough characters to share.

Pillow Pets

You can never have too many pillows! Pillow pets are the absolute best! There are so many to choose from, however, since we are discussing the letter P, Pua the pig from Moana is our choice. This pillow is a pet, so it’s a pillow pet. Very large, measuring a nice 16 inches long by 12 inches wide. Super soft plush makes Pua very comfortable to snuggle and lay on. Also, washing machine friendly, so if it gets dirty or smells not so fresh, this pillow pet can be thrown in the washer and dryer to come back good as new.

Push and Go Cars

Push and Go cars are fun for any age kid, boy or girl. This 4 pack comes with one blue, one red, one green and one yellow car, so they can be shared with friends or family. Not only can the children have hours of fun without worrying about a battery dying, but these cars can flip over and still work!

Princess Costume

Every little girl should feel like they are a princess, because, let’s be honest, they are! This princess costume is simply beautiful. It gives the complete look of royalty with the dress that has the long cape attached to it, allowing it to flow as she walks. The tiara to be placed upon her head as he walks tall. Beautiful clip on earrings to match her outfit. Also a wand and matching gloves as well. She is sure to feel like a true princess once she is all dressed up with this outfit.

Paw Patrol

No job to big, no pup too small! This Paw Patrol pack has all six of the Paw Patrol Rescue Team. Play along while Marshall leads the pups to the mission. Pretend to fly high with Sky or dig them out of trouble with Ruble, the construction pup. Each one having their own strength, but put together as a team, nothing can get in the way of these hero pups.

Paddle Ball

This classic toy is very entertaining and easy to learn. Paddle Ball is a lightweight wooden paddle with a long rubber string that has a rubber ball tied on the end. The object of the game is to keep the ball bouncing with the paddle for as long as you can without missing the ball. Easy for beginners and the string can be adjusted for those who want the game to become more challenging.

Piano

Music is a fantastic way for someone to express themselves. This piano has different modes for your child, or you, to experiment with. Different instrument sounds, different pre-programed beats and songs to play along with. Record and playback your own masterpieces. This piano is suitable for any ago or gender. Very soothing melodies to help you relax or more of an upbeat song to get your heart pumping. Anyone would enjoy this piano.

Party Packs

Alright, let me just say that I love party packs! I lean on party packs for almost every occasion. Birthday party favors, piñata, stocking stuffer, or use it as one big gift. Honestly, these party packs come with so many different toys, the kids can’t complain. I personally like the sensory fidget combination party packs. There is bound to be at least two toys that even the pickiest kid will play with.

Pac-Man

An oldie, but a goodie. Pac-Man is the classic arcade game where you have to eat all the dots and not touch the monsters. Once you have ate all the dots, that level is completed. Each level gets harder and harder. They now make this arcade game into a mini handheld arcade game, so kids and adults can enjoy the game anywhere, not just at the game hall or pizza place. No doubt that your kids will enjoy this game and see who can make the highest score.

Palm Tree Sprinkler

When it is hot outside, all kids can think about is playing in the water. They don’t have to have a pool or ocean to be happy. A simple sprinkler will do. They have a lot of fun just squirting each other with the water hose. However, for those who like a more relaxed atmosphere, and baby friendly, the palm tree sprinkler provides a nice stream of water into a very shallow pool. The tree stands over four feet high and the pool is over 5 feet long, so there is plenty of room for multiple kids or adults to enjoy the refreshing water on these hot summer days.

Parachute Toys

Parachute Toys are super fun for kids. I remember playing with them when I was growing up. Just throw them as high in the air as you can and watch them gracefully float down to the ground like a real paratrooper. These new style parachute toys, however, do not get tangled up like ours back in the day. That is great for the kids. Play and play with no worries of their toy getting messed up. This pack comes with multiple parachute men so there are a variety of colors to choose from and plenty to share.

Puppy Surprise

For all the animal loving kids out there, Puppy Surprise pets are for them. There are many different options to choose form, such as unicorns, kitties, t-rex and more. I chose the Bernese litter. Cute mama dog named Penny with her 4 P-named puppies. This is a 5-in-1 toy. The 4 puppies all fit snugly inside Mama dog and when you feel it’s time for her puppies, carefully lay mama dog on her side, unzip her belly and retrieve her beautiful puppies.

Play Dough

Play dough is a non-toxic, very child friendly activity. So many colors, so many play dough toys that can be purchased. Play dough is also a fun learning tool. Teach your children at a young age how to recognize colors of the dough. Use molds to teach shapes and letters and numbers. Let them construct their own version of the shapes. See what they can come up with. Play dough is fairly inexpensive, so no worries when it dries up.

Pop-It! Fidget Toy

Pop-It! fidget toys are super popular right now! You’ve probably seen lots of kids with them. These Disney themed Pop-It!s are my kids’ favorite. We have Olaf and Darth Vader, among other favorite characters. Not only are these popping fidgets great for kids who have trouble focusing on their work, but they are also great for kids who seek sensory input.
