16 Toys that Start with E
Last year, I started my series of posts on show and tell items from A to Z to help parents (like me) who were scrambling to find a show and tell item for their kids at the last minute. I included foods from A to Z, books for each letter of the alphabet, and toys for every letter as well. I decided to dive a little deeper and create move comprehensive lists for toys that start with each letter from A to Z – and here I am sharing the list of toys that start with the letter E!
Whether you’re looking for toys that start with E for show and tell, you’re a teacher who likes to have letter-themed toys for your alphabet lessons, or you’re looking for a gift that starts with E for a special reason (maybe you’re shopping for gifts that start with the same letter as your child’s name), this list is a great way to get started!

Toys that Start With E
Elmo is my favorite Sesame Street character. I just love his contagious laugh and his funny voice. If you know a child that would enjoy an alphabet companion, Elmo is a great teacher! Not only does he sing the entire alphabet and give examples for the letters, but he is soft and cuddly. Perfect for a snuggle buddy.
He is also bilingual, so if you are interested in your child learning both Spanish and English, this ABC Elmo is one of the best toys for them!
Excavation Dig Kit
Kids have an amazing mind. They are constantly taking in new information. Teach your kids the skill of patience and reward with this crystal excavation dig kit. They get the chance to chisel and dig through a brick of clay to find 5 beautiful crystals. They get their own personal treasure that they read and learn about through their learning guide.
If you are looking for an awesome and rewarding gift for someone who prefers something that takes a bit of skill to complete, I would suggest this beautiful elephant jigsaw puzzle. It’s only 163 pieces, so it isn’t extremely difficult, but it’s challenging enough to keep the mind going until it’s completed. After they have finished their work of art, they are able to hang it on the wall or stick it on the fridge for all to see.
Easy Bake Oven
What girl didn’t have one of these growing up, in our generation? The sweet treats they can make now taste way better than the cardboard flavor cupcakes that ours made. No matter what the flavor, it was just fun to pretend play and cook for our friends and Barbies.
The Easy Bake Oven is a perfect gift for any child that is interested in trying to bake something fun.
Do you want to get your kid a fun toy that they can ride on, but maybe they already have a bike? How about getting them an electric scooter that has rainbow lights?

Elefun is a fun game for little kids that allows them to race around the elephant as the butterflies fly out of Elefun’s trunk. Whoever catches the most butterflies wins. This is a fun, fast-paced activity that the kids can play over and over. No mess, with simple instructions.
One kid can play alone, or multiple kids can play. Sit back and watch your child use their hand and eye coordination as they try to catch all the butterflies.
The ultimate gift that will never be forgotten, is by far, an electric car! Our kids have all had one and they continue to talk about how much fun they have had racing each other and going on adventures around the house.
The cool feature that this one has is, if your child isn’t quite old enough to steer themselves, you or another adult can control the car from a remote so the child can still enjoy their off-road journey.
Etch-a-sketch is a classic game that has kept children entertained for generations after generations. No batteries. No mess. No worries. Draw lines by a simple turn of the knob.
Once one masters how to draw with the Etch-a-Sketch, it’s amazing to see what creation is possible.
Teach your kids the skill of engineering with this awesome erector set. Perfect for older kids who get bored doing the same activities. This set has 25 different models that can be built from this set. Maybe they want to build a race car today, but tomorrow they want to pretend to fly the helicopter.
This gift allows them to learn how to properly design a working machine, and will provide them the knowledge to design their own creations.
There are no age restrictions for art. An easel is a perfect gift for anyone who wants to express themselves through writing, drawing or painting. No skill is required. There is no wrong way to paint a picture.
An easel provides them with a sturdy wall with a clip to hold the canvas, or if they want to use chalk, the easel can easily be flipped over to provide a black board for chalk art. Let their imagination run wild and create whatever their heart desires.
A great learning tool for young kids is this electronic book. This book has a pen that lets the child know if they are selecting the correct answer or not. This book teaches them a variety of objects ranging from fruits, animals, jobs and activities.
This is great for any pre-k aged child or even kindergarten. A very fun and easy way for them to understand.
