18 Fun Toys that Start with F

Sharing is caring!

Last year, I started my series of posts on show and tell items from A to Z to help parents (like me) who were scrambling to find a show and tell item for their kids at the last minute. I included foods from A to Z, books for each letter of the alphabet, and toys for every letter as well. I decided to dive a little deeper and create move comprehensive lists for toys that start with each letter from A to Z – and here I am sharing the list of toys that start with the letter F!

Whether you’re looking for toys that start with F for show and tell, you’re a teacher who likes to have letter-themed toys for your alphabet lessons, or you’re looking for a gift that starts with F for a special reason (maybe you’re shopping for gifts that start with the same letter as your child’s name), this list is a great way to get started!

Farm Set

This farm set is AWESOME! Nothing like the sets that we grew up with. This set comes with farm animals that resemble real farm animals. The sheep looks like a sheep, and not a cloud with legs. The animals make the appropriate noises so your child can associate sounds with appearance. The people have the farm tools and are able to move their arms for better interaction.

The tractor and barn are also wonderful additions to this set. The barn has working doors and lights up and the tractor can roll forwards and backwards. This set is a great price and will bring joy to children of all ages!

Fidget Pack

One of the most popular toys, that is actually very convenient, is a fidget toy. This fidget pack is full of options for your child, or even yourself to keep those hands busy and help relieve some of that built up anxiety.

This set is gender neutral and perfect for all ages! Complete with a fidget spinners, multiple Pop-Its, fidget cubes and much more! It isn’t pricey either! Young or old, anyone will be pleased with this stress relief pack!

Fire Rescue Play Set

My kids have been obsessed with Fire Trucks for years! They love seeing them when we are riding down the road and one passes us going to put out a fire. Kids have such a strong heart for heroes.

Firefighter Costume

Make sure you don’t forget to get your little hero their very own firefighter costume. My son has this exact same set and has used it time and time again! The quality of the coat is perfect! It has lasted 2 years with no holes! The hat is well made also.

The fire horn is still working and the pretend fire extinguisher is still intact, so if that doesn’t speak wonders, I don’t know what does. Let your child dress up to save the day and let the role play begin!

Frisbee

Frisbee is a great family friendly sport that is perfect to play in the backyard, at the beach and at the park. This disk is a durable plastic that is also great if you want to play catch with your dog.

Light enough for the perfect smooth toss, but strong enough to not get chewed up after a day of playing fetch. Frisbee has been enjoyed by many people and dogs alike, over the years. His is a great toy for anyone who enjoys playing outdoors.

Foosball Table

Foosball is a great game to be enjoyed not only by kids, but also the adults. Most adults grew up playing this game and odds are, they had a blast.

This is the perfect game for parents to interact with their kids and teach and compete against them. Truly a family friendly game. All the fun of soccer at the tips of your fingers. Pop up some popcorn and let the games begin!

Football

Football is a wonderful sport for younger children and older kids, even adults. The football can be used just as a catch and throw type game, or they can set the rules and play the real game.

Football helps teach hand-eye coordination and makes exercising fun! As the kids grow older, their skill for football enhances and it becomes a favorite past time for them and their friends. There are many variations of the game, so even those who aren’t as fast and strong are able to play.

Fort

What was one of your favorite activities you remember as a child? Building forts is on the top of my list! Anything we could find to make into a fort we would use. Boxes, couches, blankets and tables. Now, you have the option to buy a fort kit.

Easy to assemble and lightweight so you don’t have to worry about a child getting injured. All they have to do is connect the rods together with the connectors and complete the fort by draping a sheet over it. Let their imagination run wild!

Flash Cards

Flash cards are a fun way to learn! Are you a preschool teacher, or a parent of younger kids? This flash card game is perfect to help teach the kids how to spell simple 3 and 4 letter words. The game comes with a card reader and dice with letters.

The child has to try to match the letters for the word to be spelled correctly. Great for parent-child interaction. The dice are large enough that they aren’t a choking hazard, so this is a worry free, safe learning device.

Friendship Bracelets

A great friendship between two people can be shown by making each other a friendship bracelet. They are one of a kind and made from the heart. Not just any store bought bracelet, these friendship bracelets take time and planning.

The single string is weaker when it’s by itself, but once it is twisted together with other strings to create the friendship bracelet, it is stronger than ever, making an unbreakable bond, just like their friendship.

Found It Scavenger Hunt Game

This fun indoor or outdoor game is fun for the whole family. It only takes about 2 minutes to learn the rules. The first player to get 7 cards wins! It is simple and fun. No need for electronic devices.

This game gets them to use their imagination and gets their body moving to be the fastest to complete the cards tasks. Watch them play over and over again!

Funko Pop

My children go crazy for Fortnite! All the weird characters and missions just grab their attention so quickly! This set of Fortnite action figures is great for anyone who is fascinated by the game.

Complete with 10 action figures. One from each season of Chapter 1.

Fire Tablet

A Fire Tablet is a great device to use for learning on all levels, and it’s the tablet we chose for our two younger kiddos. It gives access to endless opportunities to educate even the youngest children. Games that make learning fun and exciting. Touch screen allows quick reflexes to gain response.

The screen has options to be not so bright so it won’t hurt the eyes. Battery life up to 12 hours for you or your little one to have plenty of time for lessons. For educational videos to simple games, the Fire Tablet is great to have.

Friends LEGO Set

This set is one that my 5 year old daughter loves! It takes LEGO to a different level. Back woods and kayak adventures that any little girl is sure to enjoy. No difficult instructions to build the scene. Cute woodland creatures to make it more fun.

This treehouse lego set reminds me of Polly Pocket, but with more adventure possibilities.

Fish and Pole Set

Are you trying to get your toddler a fun new toy? Why not try a cute fishing game? This play fishing set is perfect for and young child! The poles extend and have magnetic hooks that connect to the magnetic mouth of the water creatures.

What’s awesome about this toy is that if you don’t want to just use it in the tub, it comes with its own tiny pool to play in. Also, it has 4 poles and 4 nets, so the little kids can race to see who catches the most fish, just like their dad’s.

Fridge and Play Food

A great addition to any child’s play room is a pretend fridge with pretend food and drink. This fridge even has an ice dispenser. It opens up to store all their favorite pretend foods.

Have them make you a magical meal that they get to prepare all by themselves. No mud pies will come from that fridge!

First Aid Kit

Allow your child experience the thrill of playing doctor with this pretend first aid kit. Most of the tools light up, and the stethoscope makes a sound of a real life heart beat!

The case has pretend bandaids and a pill bottle and an ID card. Let your child become familiar with all these tools. This way, going to the doctor will be less scary and you child will understand more of what is going on.

Let him or her practice on you taking your temperature and listening to your heart beat.
